Chilli & Ginger Plum Tart

Deliciously aromatic plum tart, very mild but yummy! Serves 4 or two if you're greedy.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 8-12 Victoria plums (or whatever other fresh plums you can lay your hands on)
- Half a jar of East Coast Chilli Company Chilli & Ginger jam (for a standard size puff pastry sheet)
- 1 Egg
- Demerara sugar
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 190 degrees C
- Meanwhile, place puff pastry sheet on a lightly oiled tray and lightly score about 1 inch all around the edge
- Lightly egg wash the edge for a glazed finish
- Liberally brush about half a jar of East Coast Chilli Company Chilli & Ginger jam in the centre
- Half and pit 8-12 Victoria plums and place halves cut side down onto jam-covered pastry
- Sprinkle some Demerara sugar over the plums
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes
- Serve hot with fresh cream, custard or ice cream
